Kuma "Weight Of Silence"

August 2024:
August was a month of creativity and collaboration as we focused on the planning and shooting of our short film "Kuma," which explored the critical topic of liver cancer. This project involved extensive research and consultation with healthcare professionals from the Regional Hospital Bamenda to ensure accurate representation of the subject matter. We assembled a talented cast and crew, including actors and filmmakers, promoting a collaborative environment that emphasized collective creativity. 

The production process included community engagement activities to raise awareness about liver health and the importance of early detection. Filming took place in various locations that resonated with the narrative, showcasing the beauty of our community while addressing a serious health issue. Throughout the month, we documented the production process, sharing behind-the-scenes insights with our audience to build anticipation for the film's release. By the end of August, we had made significant progress on "Kuma," setting the pace for film festivals.
